Primary Mission

To ensure seamless operations, high customer satisfaction, and productivity at the Hyderabad branch through effective leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

1. Branch Management and Administration

  • Oversee daily operations, resources, and facilities to maintain efficient branch performance.
  • Supervise contracts with external vendors and service providers.
  • Coordinate operations for clinical trials and pharmaceutical shipments.

2. Client Relationship Management and Business Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify growth opportunities and expand networks for domestic and international logistics.
  • Follow up with clients, airlines, and customs officials for smooth shipment handling.

3. Temperature-Controlled Logistics Management

  • Ensure compliance with cold chain standards for temperature-sensitive shipments.
  • Oversee vehicles, storage units (refrigerators, cool rooms), and operational audits.
  • Identify opportunities for operational cost reduction without compromising quality.

4. Team and Staff Management

  • Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and leaves to maintain smooth operations.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training for new and existing employees.

5. HR and Compliance

  • Develop job descriptions and coordinate with HR on staffing needs.
  • Ensure training programs are conducted and documented as per ISO standards.
  • Monitor compliance with ISO and internal audit processes.

6. Financial Management

  • Manage branch operational costs and petty cash.
  • Support pricing, quotations, and vendor payment approvals.
  • Identify cost-reduction initiatives to improve profitability.

7. Vendor and Contract Management

  • Oversee vendor payments, service contracts, and annual maintenance agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to service agreements with vendors and external service providers.

8. Facility Management

  • Maintain office facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and a conducive work environment.

9. Administrative Support and Reporting

  • Provide data and reports to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Maintain detailed records of operations, staffing, training, and financials.

Required Skills and Experience

Education and Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any stream with 7+ years of experience in temperature-controlled logistics.
  • Expertise in customs, airlines regulations, and cold chain management.
  • Experience in transportation, warehousing, and logistics environments.

Languages

  • Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Telugu. Additional regional languages are an advantage.
