QA Engineer

Your Team Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for a QA Engineer with expertise in automated testing, DevOps, manual testing, and functional testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications by developing and executing test plans, automating test cases, and collaborating with DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Conduct manual and functional testing to validate application features and business requirements.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to identify and resolve defects early.
Perform performance and load testing using JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools.
Ensure security and compliance testing is conducted where necessary.
Implement best practices in test automation and drive improvements in testing efficiency.
Monitor and maintain test environments, ensuring they are up-to-date and stable.

Required Skills & Experience:

3-7 years of experience in software testing (manual & automation).
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
Strong understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD automation.
Proficiency in API testing with Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for test automation in cloud environments.
Familiarity with containerized testing using Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
Knowledge of security testing methodologies.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation.
Certifications in ISTQB, Selenium, or DevOps-related areas.
