We are seeking a Technical IT Operations Leader to join our Information Management (IM) team within Airbus India, focusing on Airbus Programmes, Customer Engagement & Services. This position will oversee operational activities for the Tech Data Dispatch product, ensuring seamless operations of the applications portfolio that supports airline customers' maintenance documentation.
Leadership and Team Management: Lead and organize the operational team for Tech Data Dispatch. Build a local team of IT architects and specialists to support operational activities.
Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders including infrastructure teams, monitoring teams, customer support operations, and tech data production.
Operational Efficiency: Ensure 24/7 operational activities, securing Tech Data production in line with key service-level objectives (SLA: 99.5% availability, Mean Time To Resolve incidents < 4.3 days).
Incident and Crisis Management: Lead crisis meetings in case of outages or service degradation and manage the escalation process effectively.
Project Support: Support project deployments including planning, technical architecture validation, infrastructure setup, acceptance testing, and application deployment.
Operational Improvement: Propose and implement operational improvements (technical or organizational) to enhance efficiency.
Compliance and Security: Ensure all activities are compliant with internal policies and external regulations, fostering a culture of integrity and compliance.
Customer Satisfaction: Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction by proactively proposing solutions, driving innovation, and aligning with customer needs.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
Experience: 10-12 years of total experience in Information Technology with strong project management and team organization skills.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of technical and operational systems including Linux servers, Databases, and monitoring systems.
Communication Skills: Good communication, collaborative skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Problem-Solving: Ability to translate complex technical requests into practical solutions, assess potential impacts, and propose corrective actions.
ITIL Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ITIL management processes (incidents, changes, problem-solving, root cause analysis).
Crisis Management: Ability to lead crisis management meetings and resolve application or service-related incidents quickly.
Proactive: Proactive in proposing solutions and making continuous improvements.
Language Skills: Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
Quick Learner: Ability to learn new technologies, applications, and systems and share knowledge with the team.
Experience working remotely with colleagues in the EU.

Project Deployment: Manage and validate technical architecture, infrastructure setup, and application deployment in different environments.
Operational Improvements: Propose and implement cost-effective operational improvements to streamline workflows.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through collaboration and effective management.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with Airbus internal policies, focusing on integrity, security, and business continuity.
