IT Support (Level 1 Desktop Support)
Provide first-line support to trainees and staff for hardware and software-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners).
Set up and configure workstations, install software, and perform updates for new and existing employees/trainees.
Maintain and update system inventory and software licensing.
Assist in the maintenance of LAN (Local Area Network), including troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues.
Respond to IT support tickets, prioritizing and escalating issues as needed to the next level of support.
Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of video conferencing tools and training platforms used in the center.
Support system backups, antivirus software, and general system security protocols.
Support day-to-day office operations, including handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries from trainees and staff.
Manage scheduling and coordination of training sessions, meetings, and events at the center.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and preparing documents/reports as needed.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office supplies, equipment maintenance, and necessary repairs.
Ensure the smooth functioning of office equipment (e.g., copiers, projectors, etc.).
Manage and maintain records related to trainee attendance, course materials, and training schedules.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks for trainees and employees, including setting up workstations, accounts, and user permissions.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications (BCA).
B.Tech in IT/Computer Science or equivalent degree.
Diploma in IT.
Graduation with certifications in Networking, Hardware, or related IT fields.
Experience:
Proven experience in IT support (Level 1 Desktop Support) and/or office administration.
Basic knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting, and network configurations.
Familiarity with the installation and configuration of common software applications.
Experience with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
