What You’ll Do on a Typical Day

IT Audit & Risk Management

Perform control reviews related to:
- System development standards
- Operating procedures
- System access security & control
- Program change management
- Backup & disaster recovery
- System maintenance
Lead execution of IT & operational internal audits, including risk assessments, scoping, planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting.
Conduct internal control compliance reviews, assessing control design and operational effectiveness.
Work with co-source partners on IT audits, SOX controls, and other assignments.
Provide briefs and lead discussions with management on audit issues.

Data Analytics & Process Improvement

Develop and implement data analytics techniques for auditing.
Build and apply data analytic procedures to audit and investigative initiatives.
Perform IT risk assessments and ranking of the IT environment.
Collaborate with Business Unit leadership and Internal Audit teams to:
- Identify improvement areas
- Implement corrective actions
- Monitor remediation efforts
Coordinate with external auditors to optimize reliance on internal IT compliance-related work.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or related fields.
Certifications: CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CPA required (or equivalent).

Experience & Technical Skills

3-5 years’ experience in IT auditing, including audit planning, execution, and workpaper documentation.
Strong IT risk management & analysis background.
Expertise in one or more technology areas:
- Infrastructure (servers, storage, OS)
- Network Security
- Information Security
- Application Development & Support
- Database Architecture
Knowledge of IT security, application development, and control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, SOX, COSO).
Familiarity with data analytics & visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, ACL, IDEA, Python) is desirable.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Access for data analysis & reporting.

Ability to manage multiple assignments & deadlines.
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
Ability to remain composed under pressure and take a proactive approach to challenges.
