Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Executive with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team at HorecaStore. This role is essential in creating product categories and managing product catalogs for our expanding range of hotel supplies, specifically kitchen equipment. You will play a key role in enhancing our online presence, optimizing product listings, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

As an E-commerce Executive, you will collaborate with the E-commerce Manager and vendors to maintain an accurate and comprehensive product catalog. Your primary responsibilities include organizing product categories, managing product data, and improving the online customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Category Creation & Management:

Develop and maintain product categories aligned with market trends and customer needs.
Ensure all products are accurately categorized to enhance discoverability and improve the customer shopping experience.

✅ Product Cataloging:

Add and update product listings on the e-commerce platform with accurate product details, images, and descriptions.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure correct product specifications, pricing, and availability.

✅ Data Entry & Product Information Management:

Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of all product data (titles, descriptions, specifications, and pricing).
Manage product attributes (size, color, model) to improve search accuracy and filtering options.

✅ Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with the purchasing team to ensure new products are listed quickly and stock levels are updated accurately.
Coordinate with the marketing team to feature and promote products effectively.

✅ Inventory Management:

Regularly update inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to reflect accurate stock availability.
Assist in inventory reporting and suggest improvements to enhance the e-commerce experience.

✅ Continuous Improvement:

Analyze product performance and identify opportunities to enhance product listings and category structures.
Implement customer feedback and industry best practices to optimize the product catalog.

✅ Competitor & Market Research:

Conduct market research to monitor competitor offerings and identify emerging trends.
Recommend new product categories and variations based on customer preferences and market trends.

✅ Ensure Consistency & Quality:

Maintain consistency across all platforms by ensuring high standards for product images and descriptions.
Monitor and resolve discrepancies in product data, images, or pricing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 2-3 years in e-commerce operations, product cataloging, or a related role.
Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accurate product data and manage large volumes of information.
Platform Knowledge: Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar).
Technical Skills: Proficient in data entry, MS Excel, and using content management systems (CMS).
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze product performance, suggest improvements, and interpret market trends.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies in product information and inventory.
