Position Overview:

Deutsche Bank’s Branch Banking division operates across 17 locations in India and services a diverse customer base through Personal Banking, Private Banking, and Business Banking channels. The Private Banking Advisor plays a key role in acquiring new high-value clients, deepening existing relationships, and driving cross-sell initiatives to increase fee income and grow the savings portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition:

Support the Head RM in planning and executing micro-events to attract new clients
Source new accounts from referrals and group companies/family of existing customers

Relationship Building & Cross-Selling:

Grow and deepen savings portfolio consistently
Promote third-party financial products including insurance, mortgages, and auto loans
Drive client penetration in investments and insurance sales
Ensure comprehensive risk profiling and financial planning using internal tools
Track average revenue per customer and expand client wallet share

Client Retention & Service:

Deliver top-class customer service in line with industry standards
Closely monitor and manage high net-worth accounts
Reactivate inactive accounts and resolve service-related issues
Promote digital and alternate banking channels

Risk & Compliance:

Adhere to KYC, AML, Anti-mis-selling, Operational Risk, and other compliance norms
Report suspicious transactions promptly
Capture and update client contact information
Provide feedback to product and quality teams on evolving customer needs

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience: 7 – 12 years in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or related domains
Client Profile Experience: Proven expertise in handling or sourcing clients with ₹20 Lacs+ relationships
Background Preference: Banking, premium club memberships, or high-end credit card sales
Education: Graduation (minimum qualification)
Strong knowledge of Wealth Management, Mutual Funds, PMS, and Insurance
Excellent English communication skills and professional grooming
Individual contributor role – ideal for senior bankers with strong acquisition and servicing acumen
