About the Role

As a member of the global ERM development team, you’ll support both on-premise and cloud-based solutions. This role will involve transforming legacy database implementations and leading migration efforts from Oracle to PostgreSQL. You'll work closely with internal teams, clients, and partners to ensure successful consulting engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and optimize Oracle database performance and indexing
Support cloud databases hosted in AWS and Azure (SaaS & on-premise)
Collaborate with Scrum teams during sprint planning, refinement, and reviews
Assist developers in tuning PL/SQL, functions, packages, and procedures
Drive transition of products towards a cloud-native architecture

Ideal Experience & Skills

Strong understanding of cloud databases and managed services (AWS & Azure)
Experience with PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB)
Proven expertise in Oracle performance tuning and debugging
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and database design
Familiarity with clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-cultural, distributed team
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
Optional: Unit testing, Docker/Kubernetes for databases
