Job Title: Technical Support Engineer III – Atlassian Administrator

Job Type: Full-time
Shift & Schedule: US Shift (6/7 PM IST onwards)
Location: Remote (Based in India) | Office: Delhi, India

Role Overview:

As a Technical Support Engineer III, you will serve as a senior-level Atlassian Administrator supporting and optimizing our Atlassian Cloud suite, with a focus on Jira Service Management (JSM). You will implement solutions, manage tool integrations, and support internal users across various teams.

This position reports directly to the Manager, Atlassian Systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into scalable JSM solutions, and oversee their implementation and testing.

  • Provide expert end-user support for all Atlassian tools.

  • Develop JSM workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.

  • Create and maintain automations within Atlassian JSM, Jira Software, Confluence, etc.

  • Configure JSM projects, queries, reports, dashboards, and customer portal forms.

  • Manage plugin installation, configuration, and extensions.

  • Build dashboards with add-ons, configure custom fields, and support advanced configurations.

  • Maintain and test configurations in sandboxes.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of total experience, including significant client interaction and communication responsibilities.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Jira administration experience.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

  • Deep knowledge of Atlassian Cloud products with a passion for outstanding customer service.

  • Self-motivated, adaptive, curious, and resilient with a growth mindset.

  • Basic understanding of Java, database structures, and proficiency in SQL.

  • Preferred experience with Scriptrunner.
