Position Overview

As a WFA Data Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of employee data in the Workday Human Capital Management System (HCM). This includes processing transactions, reconciling payroll, maintaining organization structures, and supporting various HR-related activities across the employee lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain employee records in Workday (e.g., transfers, promotions, absences).

  • Complete new hire transactions and validate inputs from ATS to Workday.

  • Maintain supervisory organizations, cost centers, and job titles in the system.

  • Reconcile payroll by reviewing reports and making necessary updates.

  • Support employee benefits enrollment and documentation accuracy.

  • Process various requests including reimbursements, awards, and time-off updates.

  • Handle vendor invoice reviews in collaboration with Vendor Management.

  • Participate in UAT, QA, and ad-hoc reporting and data projects.

  • Collaborate with functional HR teams to update SOPs, FAQs, and training documentation.

  • Escalate complex issues and propose process improvements to drive operational excellence.


Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with HRIS/HCM systems (Workday preferred)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tools

  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset

Preferred:

  • Experience in an HR Shared Services model

  • Exposure to multi-country HR processes

  • Prior experience with Workday or similar platforms

  • Understanding of payroll and benefits processing


Work Environment & Structure

  • Hybrid Role: Minimum 50% onsite presence required

  • Role classified under BMS’s “Site-by-Design” protocol
