Job Overview: Houston Gifted Consultancy is seeking dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to join our team as Online English Tutors. This role offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while positively impacting students’ language learning journeys. As an Online English Tutor, you will deliver high-quality English lessons to students of varying age groups and proficiency levels. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging and interactive online English lessons with students using various teaching platforms.
Assess students’ proficiency levels and tailor lessons to meet their individual learning needs and goals.
Provide constructive feedback on students’ progress, identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and implement lesson plans, exercises, and activities to enhance learning.
Assist students with homework, assignments, and projects to reinforce language skills.
Maintain regular communication with students and their parents (if applicable) to track progress and address concerns.
Utilize multimedia and technology to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to improve teaching techniques and skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (highly desirable).
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage students.
Experience with online teaching tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to work with students of different learning styles.
Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but not required.

Experience:

Previous experience teaching or tutoring English (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience working remotely or in a virtual learning environment is a plus.

Working Hours:

Flexible working hours, with the ability to schedule classes based on your availability.
Full-time or part-time roles available.
Evening and weekend shifts may be required depending on student needs, especially for international students in different time zones.
