Role Overview:

This role is part of the Global Operations team, working across the US, UK, and India. The purpose of the role is to ensure the timely and accurate settlement of domestic, foreign, and currency transactions for all product types. The position involves handling all operational aspects of processing transactions, from trade confirmation to reconciliation, managing relationships with brokers, custodians, prime brokers, vendors, sub-advisors, and traders.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Matching & Settlement:
- Contact brokers or review electronic trade matching to ensure domestic and international trades are matched on key trade information.
- Instruct custodians to ensure timely settlement of all domestic and international transactions for various products and security types.
- Manage fails for timely resolution to minimize risk.
Collaboration with Trading Teams:
- Work closely with trading teams to resolve any trade questions or corrections.
- Identify trends of failed trades to reduce risk due to missing, incorrect instructions, or system limitations.
Prime Broker Support:
- Support Prime Broker processes including collateral monitoring, administrator correspondence, oversight, etc.
Project & System Support:
- Provide support for various projects and initiatives for the product/front office/business.
- Test systems, generate ad-hoc reports, and assist in miscellaneous projects for enhancements or regulatory requirements.
Relationship Management:
- Provide quality service and information to partners and clients.
- Maintain relationships with brokers, custodians, prime brokers, vendors, sub-advisors, and traders to ensure professionalism.
- Maintain the Settlements Instruction database with broker instructions.
Team & Process Contributions:
- Attend team meetings, leader regular meetings, and contribute to innovation and process improvements in the function.

Required Qualifications:

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with peers, staff, and business partners.
Strong decision-making abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and strong analytical abilities.
Mutual Fund Industry knowledge is a must.
Proficient in MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications or experience related to the mutual fund or financial services industry.
