Position Summary

As a Solution Architect (Storage and Datacenter), you will work closely with top global, enterprise, and mid-market customers across India. Your role will involve collaborating with the sales team, understanding customer needs, designing storage and data center solutions, and providing technical expertise to drive successful deal closures.

A strong understanding of storage protocols like SAN and NAS, along with expertise in sizing and configuring storage systems, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand customer storage challenges, application requirements, and data management goals.
Recommend customized storage solutions, including storage arrays, protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS), data protection strategies, and capacity planning.
Deliver compelling technical presentations to showcase storage solutions, their features, and business benefits.
Design and execute proof of concepts (POCs) to validate performance and functionality while addressing customer concerns.
Analyze competitor offerings to effectively differentiate Zones’ storage solutions.
Develop detailed proposals with pricing, implementation schedules, and technical specifications.
Maintain deep expertise in SAN, NAS, DAS, cloud storage, object storage, data deduplication, and compression.
Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle by answering queries, resolving concerns, and facilitating discussions.
Build strong customer relationships to serve as a trusted advisor on storage solutions.

What You Bring to the Team

Proficiency in storage protocols like NFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
Strong expertise in Network-Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Networks (SAN).
Deep knowledge of data protection techniques (e.g., backup, replication, snapshots).
Familiarity with major storage and backup vendors such as Dell, HPe, NetApp, Hitachi Vantara, Commvault, Veeam, and Veritas.
Experience with storage sizing tools and performance analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to collaborate with the sales team and work in a team-oriented environment.
Participation in OEM training programs and support for sales teams.
Ability to generate leads from OEMs and expand accounts.
Experience managing the sales bid process and responding to RFI & RFPs.
Ability to track and support business development and sales opportunities.
