A Tour and Travel Consultant specializes in crafting customized travel experiences, organizing tours, and planning vacation itineraries. This role demands in-depth knowledge of travel destinations, excellent customer service skills, and efficient management of bookings and logistics.
Client Consultation
✔ Meet with clients to discuss travel preferences, budgets, and requirements
✔ Provide expert advice on destinations, accommodations, and activities
Tour & Package Planning
✔ Design customized travel packages, including flights, stays, and transportation
✔ Offer pre-designed tour packages tailored to various customer needs
✔ Negotiate and coordinate with tour operators, airlines, and hotels
Booking & Reservation Management
✔ Book flights, hotels, and other travel services
✔ Ensure timely confirmation of reservations, managing changes or cancellations
Itinerary Creation
✔ Develop detailed travel itineraries with schedules and key information
✔ Ensure clarity and alignment with client expectations
Customer Support
✔ Address client inquiries and concerns before, during, and after travel
✔ Provide support for delays, cancellations, or emergencies
Market Research & Promotion
✔ Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and attractions
✔ Collaborate with the marketing team to promote packages online and offline
Budget & Compliance Management
✔ Work within client budgets while maintaining quality experiences
✔ Ensure compliance with local and international travel regulations
✔ Assist with travel insurance, visa applications, and documentation
???? Education: Degree/Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or related fields (preferred)
???? Experience:
▪ Prior experience in travel consultancy or tourism industry (preferred)
▪ Familiarity with travel booking systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo)

✔ Proficiency in travel planning software & office tools
