Workday’s APAC Solution Consulting team is expanding into India, and we are hiring across Go-To-Market (GTM) roles, including this key Presales HCM position. With over 700 global companies using Workday products in India, we are growing our presence to better serve local organizations looking to replace legacy systems with modern, AI-driven enterprise applications.
As a Presales Solution Consultant (HCM), you will play a crucial role in the entire sales cycle—collaborating with Account Executives to understand customer needs, demonstrate Workday’s value, and build compelling, customer-centric solutions. You’ll be a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders, using your domain expertise to highlight the benefits of Workday’s enterprise cloud applications.
Discovery & Solutioning:
Conduct discovery sessions with prospects to define business requirements and understand current HR environments.
Customer Engagement:
Deliver impactful presentations and live product demonstrations tailored to HR challenges and strategic goals.
Collaborative Sales:
Partner with Sales, Product Specialists, and Implementation Partners to develop and present comprehensive HCM solutions.
Proposal Development:
Lead RFP/RFI responses and create solution overviews aligned to customer business initiatives.
Industry Expertise:
Build expertise in targeted verticals (e.g., FSI, Pharma, Retail, Manufacturing) and present Workday’s differentiated value in those sectors.
Thought Leadership:
Highlight Workday’s advantages over legacy ERP systems and illustrate the transformative impact of AI-driven solutions.
Relationship Building:
Establish trusted advisor relationships with C-level HR leaders and other key decision-makers during evaluation processes.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on evolving Workday solutions, industry trends, and new technologies through company-provided learning programs.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Presales, Consulting, or Technical roles
3+ years of experience with HCM systems/processes
3+ years in a presales, solution consulting, or HRIS-focused role
Preferred Experience
Deep understanding of HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Benefits, and Compensation
Familiarity with Workforce Planning, Time Tracking, and Employee Engagement
Strong communication and influencing skills, especially with C-level HR executives
Proven track record with medium to large enterprise clients across industries
Skilled in delivering compelling value-driven narratives for AI-powered SaaS solutions
