About the Team:

The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team consists of experts who help customers realize their desired business outcomes with the AWS Cloud. Collaborating closely with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN), we deliver specialized services that assist in enterprise cloud adoption, ensuring our customers achieve optimal results in their cloud journey.

About the Role:

As a Delivery Consultant at AWS, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions tailored to their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key driver of customer success throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical guidance and applying AWS best practices to optimize performance and ensure secure, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Implementation:
- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to meet specific customer needs.
Project Delivery & Technical Support:
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project implementation and delivery.
Collaboration & Requirements Gathering:
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and propose effective migration strategies to AWS.
Advisory & Thought Leadership:
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship:
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
Customer Engagement:
- Collaborate with customers to understand their cloud needs and deliver customized solutions to enhance their AWS experience.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with AWS Services:
- Deep knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, and S3.
Programming & Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in programming with object-oriented languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, or similar.
IT Implementation Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in IT implementation, including designing and deploying business software solutions at scale.
Cloud Computing Expertise:
- Experience in cloud computing technologies, including infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, and virtualization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Design & Implementation Experience:
- Proven experience in leading the design, development, and deployment of cloud computing technologies and business software.
Customer-Focused:
- Ability to engage directly with customers to gather technical requirements and design AWS solutions that meet their objectives.
Advisory Experience:
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices for cloud adoption.
