Strategy Development & Execution:
Drive long-term strategy and daily execution to grow AWS business with Strategic ISVs, including expanding the business and increasing revenue from the hottest ISV customers.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain broad relationships with C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner organizations, and sales teams within the customer’s organization.
Collaborative Approach:
Work collaboratively with AWS resources such as executives, partners, support teams, and solution architects to support customer needs while advocating for AWS business interests.
Sell-to and Sell-with Motions:
Drive both new service adoption and new line-of-business development. Facilitate partnership and technical collaboration for growth.
Territory Ownership:
Be the owner of the assigned territory, driving digital transformation through engagement with various customer stakeholders (C-level executives, IT leaders, architects, developers).
Thought Leadership:
Act as a trusted advisor and influence technology decisions with customers, accelerating both sell-to and sell-with sales motions to help grow customers and AWS business.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams and represent the entire portfolio of AWS products and services across your assigned customer base.
Experience:
12+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, particularly selling to C-level executives.
Sales & Closing Ability:
Proven ability to drive accounts independently and close the complete sales cycle from initial engagement to closure.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication skills to interact with and present structured arguments to high-level business stakeholders.
Cloud Understanding:
Solid understanding of cloud computing and the ability to advocate for AWS services.
Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS):
Responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from a wide range of accounts, including enterprise-level customers and public sector clients.
AWS Global Support:
Provides world-class support, working with leading companies to build mission-critical applications using AWS services.
