As an Account Executive, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Account & Customer Relationship Management

    • Drive cloud subscription revenue and exceed quota targets.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

    • Be a trusted advisor, offering valuable counsel on solutions and implementation expertise.

    • Develop effective account plans and ensure sustainable growth.

  • Territory & Account Leadership

    • Lead the assigned territory and manage relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles.

    • Leverage SAP’s solutions to enhance customer strategies and address pain points.

    • Build strong foundations for future business opportunities through deep knowledge of customer needs.

    • Utilize business planning to deliver customized solutions for clients, focusing on ROI and benchmarks.

  • Demand Generation & Pipeline Management

    • Maintain an updated and moving sales pipeline.

    • Utilize internal resources such as marketing, inside sales, and channels to funnel pipeline into the territory.

    • Close sales opportunities by executing the sales strategy and roadmap.

  • Sales Excellence

    • Sell the value of SAP’s products.

    • Identify and execute cross-sell and up-sell initiatives.

    • Utilize best practice sales models and maintain accurate CRM systems.


???? What You’ll Bring

Experience & Skills:

  • 15+ years of experience in selling business software/IT solutions.

  • Proven track record in business application software sales.

  • Prior experience engaging with government customers and system integrators.

  • In-depth understanding of government procurement processes and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate complex, long-term sales cycles.

Language Requirements:

  • English: Fluent (Business level)

  • Local language: Fluent (Business level)

  • You will be part of the Public Sector & Utilities team, working as an individual contributor.

  • You will manage accounts in the West region and will be based in Mumbai.

  • Travel across the territory will be required as per business needs.
