Job Summary

Exusia, a cutting-edge digital transformation consultancy, is looking for Senior Consultants/Leads with strong domain knowledge of the US Healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data architecture, specifically within the healthcare industry.

Role Overview

This is a full-time position to work with Exusia’s clients in the United States, delivering advanced data-driven solutions. The role will involve business and data analysis, data mapping, data modeling, and translating functional requirements into technical specifications. Collaboration with Product Owners, Business SMEs, Solution Architects, and Developers will be essential.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Data Analysis:
- Analyse and document business requirements by working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Perform data analysis, data mapping, and data modelling activities.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including source-to-target mapping and data models.
Healthcare Domain Expertise:
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in the healthcare domain and share knowledge with the project team and business stakeholders.
- Lead data profiling, data cleansing, and data analysis activities, preparing detailed analysis reports.
- Perform data validation and testing to ensure data accuracy.
Agile Software Delivery:
- Work in an agile environment, managing changing requirements and priorities during the SDLC.

Criteria for the Role

Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience working with US healthcare domain customers.
- At least 6 years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst and Data Modeler.
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s in Science (preferably in Computer and Information Sciences or Business Information Technology) or Engineering degree in related fields.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
- Creative problem solver, flexible, and proactive attitude towards learning new tools and technologies.

Mandatory Skills

US Healthcare Domain Knowledge:
- Deep knowledge of healthcare domains such as Claims (Medical and Pharmacy), EMR, EHR, HIE.
- Experience in creating logical and conceptual data models for the above areas.
Data Modeling & Architecture:
- Experience in physical implementation of Star, Snowflake, and Relational (Normalized including 3NF) models using tools like Erwin, ER Studio, Infosphere Data Architect (IDA).
Data Analysis & SQL Skills:
- Strong understanding of data architectural patterns and their implementation.
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data analysis, data profiling, and ETL requirements.
- Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Data Validation & Testing:
- Experience in data validation and testing using SQL or other tool-based methods.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Exposure to scrum master or product owner roles.
Knowledge of data processing pipelines and orchestration using Snowflake, DBT, Python, or Airflow.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience in Data Governance projects, including Metadata Management, Data Dictionary, Data Glossary, Data Lineage, and Data Quality.
