General Description:

As a Project Implementation Consultant, you will work alongside a project manager to lead implementation projects across all verticals (K12, Higher Education, Corporate, Government). You will be the client’s main technical lead and collaborate with various D2L departments to ensure clients are well-prepared for their launch. Your role will involve pre-sales support, requirements facilitation, business analysis, technical solution design, and solution implementation. Travel may be required.

Major Responsibilities:

Technical Lead for Implementation Projects:
- Conduct consultation workshops to elicit and document requirements.
- Design technical solutions and partner products to meet customer needs.
- Guide customers through the successful implementation of technical solutions.
- Execute projects independently while meeting customer commitments.
- Create and provide documentation/resources for clients.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve challenges and design creative solutions.
Scoping & Technical Solution Design:
- Partner with the sales team to provide pre-sales support and scope suitable products/services for clients.
Internal Knowledge & Process Improvement:
- Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to internal improvement initiatives.
- Identify and resolve gaps in processes and documentation.
- Provide guidance to implementation consultants on complex technical cases.
- Stay updated with client products and new technologies to facilitate learning solutions.
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in both billable and non-billable responsibilities as required.

Skills (Preferred):

Working experience with technologies such as:
- AWS, API Integrations (Github, Postman), Single Sign-On/Web Authentication
- Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- XML, HTML/HTML5/CSS, SQL

Work Experience (Required):

At least 5 years of relevant experience in project implementation.
Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- SaaS Environments
- Education or Corporate Training sectors

Education (Preferred):

University degree/diploma or equivalent in a relevant field.
