Position Overview

This role is pivotal in driving business growth across India, supporting education technology implementations nationwide. It’s an incredible opportunity to help customers achieve transformational objectives, optimize teaching practices, and inspire students while advancing EdTech adoption.

Key Responsibilities

???? Strategic Advocacy & Government Engagement

✔ Act as a key contact for Ministries & Departments of Education (MOE) and other government officials at state and national levels.
✔ Influence education policy and contribute to education landscape transformations.
✔ Work with consultants & lobbyists to build networks of key stakeholders supporting National Education Policy initiatives.

???? EdTech Deployment & Implementation

✔ Support K-12, Higher Education, and Vocational Training institutions in pre- & post-implementation phases of EdTech projects.
✔ Develop and recommend learning paths for educators to accelerate EdTech adoption.
✔ Ensure effective curriculum integration of SMART products through training & long-term professional development planning.

???? Market Development & Thought Leadership

✔ Build strong relationships with key education stakeholders to drive brand preference & revenue growth.
✔ Develop & deliver support programs, events, teacher forums, proof-of-concept initiatives, and ICT workshops.
✔ Engage in market research to understand customer dynamics & competitive landscape.
✔ Represent SMART Technologies at regional and national exhibitions, conferences, and events.

???? Collaboration & Training

✔ Work with sales teams, marketing departments, and channel partners to ensure effective product positioning.
✔ Assist in developing marketing campaigns, new product launches, and educational outreach programs.
✔ Support content creation for SMART’s software platforms and educator training programs.
✔ Drive the SMART Certified Trainer Program to ensure standardized training availability across India.

???? Market Influence & Policy Engagement

✔ Identify state-level funding opportunities and work with partners to facilitate procurement.
✔ Monitor educational trends to inform strategic planning and product development.
✔ Provide market insights to internal teams for better pipeline management.

Qualifications & Experience

???? Education & Teaching Experience
✔ Certified teacher from a recognized institution with 3-5 years of classroom experience.
✔ Passionate about classroom technology & its impact on teaching & learning.

???? Skills & Expertise
✔ Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
✔ Deep knowledge of local education issues & pedagogic principles.
✔ Experience in EdTech, education software, or interactive technology.
✔ Proven ability to work autonomously & collaboratively on multiple projects.
✔ Strong commercial awareness (project management, budgeting, strategic planning).
✔ Ability to build relationships with school administrators & policy influencers.
✔ Fluency in English & local languages (written & spoken).

✔ Valid passport (or ability to obtain one).
✔ Valid driver’s license.
✔ Ability to travel locally & internationally.
✔ No impediments to obtaining a work VISA.
