Role Overview:

The Advisors & Consulting Services team at Mastercard combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. We work with a diverse global customer base, spanning industries like banking, payments, retail, and restaurants.

The Strategy & Transformation consultants lead clients through impactful decision-making as they tackle business challenges. This role applies a broad set of problem-solving techniques to improve overall strategy, performance, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Impact:

Provide creative input on projects across various industries and problem statements.
Develop strategies and programs for regional and global clients using data and technology solutions to unlock client value.
Collaborate with Mastercard teams to understand client needs, agendas, and risks.
Build strong relationships with client analysts/managers and act as a trusted partner.

Team Collaboration & Culture:

Work closely with senior consultants to identify key findings, prepare effective presentations, and deliver recommendations to clients.
Independently identify issues and structure your analysis to highlight relevant findings.
Lead internal and client meetings, contributing to project management.
Contribute to the firm’s intellectual capital.
Receive mentorship from consulting leaders for continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree with work experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business intelligence, business line management, or product management.
Relevant client or internal stakeholder management experience.
Strong logical and structured thinking with an affinity for numerical analysis.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Effective communication skills in English and the local office language (if applicable).
Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying and ability to apply for travel visas as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to identify problems, brainstorm solutions, and implement the best strategies.
Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment with third parties.
Relevant industry expertise.
