We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to handle a variety of accounting functions such as bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and other related duties. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounting, particularly in the real estate industry, and a strong understanding of tax preparation.
Perform bookkeeping tasks, including posting entries in Tally, handling payments, receipts, journal vouchers (JV), purchase, sale, credit notes, and debit notes.
Manage accounts payable and receivable on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy in invoices and expense reports.
Reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Enter financial data into computer software, ensuring proper filing of bills and invoices.
Facilitate all incoming payments and outgoing checks, including printing checks, obtaining signatures, and distributing them.
Follow up with vendors for accounts payable and ensure bills are paid on time.
Must have experience working in the real estate industry.
Experience in Income Tax Return preparation (ITR) and TDS is essential.
Education: Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
