???? Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced US Accounting Specialist to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should possess 5–9 years of hands-on accounting experience, strong team handling capabilities, and expertise in US GAAP and US Accounting practices. Candidates must be open to working US hours and possess strong audit, review, and reporting skills.


???? Education & Qualifications (Mandatory):

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Inter CA / CMA

  • Note: CA candidates currently pursuing the course are not eligible.

  • Immediate joiners or candidates with notice period ≤ 15 days preferred


???? Experience Requirements:

  • Total Accounting Experience: 6+ years

  • US Accounting Experience: 3+ years (Mandatory)

  • Experience up to finalization of accounts

  • In-depth knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, Bank Reconciliation

  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, MIP, GP, and other ERP tools

  • Experience in grant accounting preferred

  • Strong team management experience (minimum 1–2 years, handling 3–5 members)

  • Prior work in MNCs or matrix organizations highly preferred


???? Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and finalize financial statements

  • Perform reconciliations and audit support

  • Manage daily accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, Bank Rec, Payroll)

  • Handle audit documentation and client communication

  • Lead and train junior staff

  • Deliver accurate reports within tight deadlines

  • Participate in internal and client-facing financial presentations

  • Monitor compliance with US GAAP and internal controls


????️ Skills & Competencies:

  • Advanced MS Excel skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent English communication – verbal and written

  • Clear understanding of audit processes and financial controls

  • Strong cost accounting and allocation methodology understanding (e.g., FTE, space, weighted FTE)

  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and extended working hours when required
