Role Overview:

As a Client Partner, you will be responsible for managing and growing a strategic account portfolio. Your primary duties include setting the vision, driving the organic growth strategy, identifying key growth opportunities, proactively creating value for clients, and ensuring the financial health of your accounts. You will build strategic client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction through world-class delivery. The goal is to establish a long-term, trusted advisor relationship, making the client successful and committed to Wipro.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Growth & Management:

    • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts.

    • Direct organic growth strategy across the portfolio, including vision setting and annual account planning.

    • Identify key growth opportunities and proactively create value for the client.

    • Ensure financial health of accounts within the portfolio.

    • Drive profitable growth through strong, trusted client relationships.

  • Client Relationships & Engagement:

    • Build and manage client relationships at all levels, especially with senior leadership (CIO, VPs, Directors).

    • Work collaboratively with senior customer teams to suggest, advise, evaluate, and prime business growth.

    • Ensure client satisfaction through world-class delivery and proactive issue resolution.

  • Sales & Pre-sales:

    • Lead proactive sales efforts, presenting proposals and responses to RFP/RFIs.

    • Work closely with Procurement and Supplier Relationship teams to ensure smooth contract flows, invoicing, and payments.

    • Generate leads by engaging with customers in various business lines to expand Wipro's footprint.

  • Revenue & Target Management:

    • Carry targets on revenue, bookings, and operating margin (OM).

    • Resolve people management issues within Wipro teams to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Required:

    • At least 15+ years of experience in selling IT services, preferably in Tier-1 or Tier-2 competitive organizations.

    • Strong knowledge of the global delivery model (GDM) and methodologies.

    • Experience in cross-selling various service lines to customers.

    • Ability to present and interact at all levels, with consultative sales capability.

    • Experience in managing a multi-million USD account across various geographies.

    • Proven track record in account management, building and managing relationships at all levels.

    • Exposure to sales, pre-sales, or delivery roles.

  • Preferred Skills:

    • Ability to collaborate across various teams and service lines.

    • Strong ability to resolve complex issues and drive business growth.

    • Knowledge of contract management, invoicing, and payments.
