Role Overview: Staff Product Designer

As a Staff Product Designer at Acceldata, you will play a crucial role in designing systems, components, and tools that deliver unified, consistent user experiences. You will work closely with product management and engineering teams to create high-quality, well-designed software that enhances the user experience for search, file browsing, data discovery, and analysis.

Your work will directly impact product direction, improve design processes, and create accessible, compelling experiences for our users.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision:
- Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making regarding product direction.
- Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities.
Design Execution:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, and design peers).
- Design and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
- Create and maintain user-interface specifications and design pattern documentation.
- Write guidance for design components, styles, and patterns.
Collaboration & Consistency:
- Work with other designers to ensure design consistency across products.
- Lead and deliver large-scale design projects from concept to execution.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Experience:
- 10+ years of B2B product design experience.
- Proven ability to tackle ambiguous problems and convert them into clear design goals.
- Experience in leading and delivering large and complex design projects.
Skills:
- Strong product design capabilities with an ability to delight a technical audience.
- Expertise in user research to understand customer goals and validate design proposals.
- Exceptional visual design skills with an eye for detail.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
