Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

Experience Required: 7+ years

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Test Automation Engineer to define and influence the test automation strategy within an award-winning division of our TDI (Technology, Data, and Innovation) team.

As a QA Lead Automation Specialist, you will work with Test Engineers and Product stakeholders to develop and maintain Test Automation frameworks and scripts for functional and non-functional testing. Your role will ensure a comprehensive and consistent approach to Test Automation across our domain.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Execution:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and Database testing.
- Build automation and performance testing frameworks using industry best practices.
- Maximize test coverage for critical system features.
- Enhance existing frameworks to support evolving automation needs.
- Set up Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines and run automation regression packs for every release.
Agile & DevOps Integration:
- Work within an Agile methodology using User Stories, Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Ensure continuous testing and integration in a CI/CD DevOps environment.
- Develop and maintain Automated Test Dashboards.
Performance Testing & Optimization:
- Define Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and develop performance testing automation frameworks.
- Adhere to Bank’s Performance Monitoring Standards.
Standardization & Best Practices:
- Establish coding standards and automation guidelines across Archiving Technology.
- Implement design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM), Factory Design Pattern, Facade Pattern, and Singleton Pattern.

Required Skills & Experience

✔ Test Automation Expertise:

Selenium & Serenity Automation Framework
TestNG, JUnit
API Automation Testing using REST Assured
Performance Testing using LoadRunner, Performance Center, JMeter

✔ CI/CD & DevOps Experience:

Jenkins, TeamCity integration for test automation

✔ Agile Testing & Collaboration Tools:

JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint Online, O365, ServiceNow

✔ Automation Strategy & Design:

Strong experience in building and implementing test automation strategies within large-scale IT organizations.
Hands-on experience with TDD and BDD techniques, including Gherkin & Cucumber syntax.

✔ Performance Testing & Optimization:

Experience defining Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and building performance testing frameworks.
