About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Manual Cargo Tester with robust experience in software testing within the Airline Cargo domain. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with backend testing, API debugging, and Agile/SAFe methodologies, while contributing to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Define functional and technical test approaches.
Estimate scope and effort for testing tasks during PI Planning.
Analyze user stories and develop detailed test models and cases.
Conduct reviews of test cases with Business Analysts/Product Owners.
Develop backend test suites using ReadyAPI.
Identify frontend regression test cases and coordinate with TA team for automation.
Maintain and execute automated test suites for microservices.
Log and retest defects; analyze test results effectively.
Collaborate with developers to improve testability.
Participate in sprint activities, planning, demos, and retrospectives.
Help define “Definition of Done” and acceptance criteria.
Provide guidance on which tests should be automated and at which layer.
Assist developers and TA team with test automation and result analysis.

Required Skill Set:

6–10 years of experience in software testing.
Strong domain knowledge in Airline Cargo systems.
Experience in Agile Scrum or SAFe environments.
Tools: Microfocus ALM, JIRA, ReadyAPI, Enterprise Architect.
Backend service testing experience using ReadyAPI or Postman.
Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GIT).
Defect management experience and process knowledge.
Bonus: Experience with test automation tools like Cypress or Selenium.
