About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to drive reliability, performance, and scalability within our Global Risk & Compliance (GRC) Technology solutions. In this role, you will develop and implement SRE strategies, lead production support, enhance observability, and champion automation efforts to improve operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

SRE Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive SRE strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Lead a team of SRE professionals to enhance reliability, performance, and scalability of GRC technology solutions.

Observability & Monitoring

  • Establish observability practices for real-time insights into system performance and customer experience.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and tracing tools to proactively detect and resolve issues.

Production Support Optimization

  • Oversee incident management, problem resolution, and SLA compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).

GRC Customer Journeys

  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance customer journeys with seamless and reliable technology experiences.

Reliability Engineering Best Practices

  • Promote error budgeting, chaos engineering, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Foster a culture of resilience and reliability in technology.

Automation & Efficiency

  • Champion automation initiatives for operational workflows, deployment, and incident response.
  • Utilize orchestration tools to improve reliability and reduce manual intervention.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Production Support, or DevOps.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expertise in observability tools and methodologies, including logging, monitoring, and performance analysis.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills to lead successful SRE teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience in coding and system design for highly available distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in Java, Golang, JavaScript.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization technologies.
  • Experience with modern observability stacks (e.g., Splunk, ElasticSearch, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based SRE practices.
  • Proven ability to drive culture change, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement.
