Job Summary

As a Technical Sales Manager – Rotating Equipment, you will drive customer engagement, business development, and sales strategy for centrifugal compressors and rotating equipment solutions. You will work closely with Turbo OEMs, internal stakeholders, and customers while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

???? Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

✔ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
✔ Provide technical and commercial support to Turbo OEMs for pre-bid and final enquiries
✔ Engage with Sales teams to identify retrofit and upgrade opportunities
✔ Act as a point of contact for Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback for product development

???? Technical & Commercial Responsibilities

✔ Ensure prompt response to technical and commercial queries
✔ Prepare and review technical proposals and commercial quotations
✔ Participate in techno-commercial discussions with internal and external stakeholders
✔ Coordinate with GEC and Commercial teams for seamless execution

????️ Product & Market Development

✔ Support global business strategies, new product development, and initiatives
✔ Track market developments and competitive landscape
✔ Ensure compliance with international standards like API, ISO, ASME

???? Travel & Field Support

✔ Frequent travel within India and occasional global travel (with short notice)
✔ Assist in Field Services for rotating equipment installations and commissioning

⚠️ Health, Safety & Compliance

✔ Ensure HSE compliance with customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements
✔ Exercise due diligence in health & safety for self and team

Required Qualifications

???? Education:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

???? Experience:
✔ 10-12 years in technical sales of rotating equipment (pumps/compressors)
✔ Hands-on Field Services experience is an advantage
✔ Knowledge of API610, API692, API617 preferred

???? Skills & Expertise:
✔ Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment (preferably centrifugal compressors)
✔ Familiarity with international standards (API, ISO, ASME)
✔ Excellent commercial acumen & negotiation skills
✔ Exceptional communication, presentation, and decision-making skills
✔ Self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage challenging situations
✔ Team player with willingness to travel extensively
