Job Title: Testing Senior Analyst

Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Job Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

As a Testing Senior Analyst, you will apply in-depth knowledge and expertise to enhance testing strategies, improve processes, and ensure quality deliverables for applications and systems. You will lead and coach teams, actively contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, and play a significant role in the evaluation, identification, and resolution of testing-related issues.

Responsibilities:

Testing & Analysis:
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and manage product rollouts into production.
- Test a variety of systems and applications to meet specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Work closely with business and functional stakeholders to develop test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Execute test scripts and identify defects, performing root cause analyses to recommend appropriate actions.
- Coordinate multiple testers and testing activities within a project.
- Retest after corrections to ensure problems are resolved and document test results for future replication.
Collaboration & Strategy:
- Participate in test strategy meetings and collaborate with client leads and development teams.
- Analyze requirements and design aspects of projects to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
- Provide metrics related to the cost, effort, and milestones of quality activities on a project level.
Leadership & Mentoring:
- Act as a mentor and advisor for junior team members.
- Regularly assume informal or formal leadership roles within teams.
- Ensure high-quality tasks, services, and information across the team.
Risk Management:
- Appropriately assess risks in business decisions and safeguard Citigroup’s reputation, clients, and assets.
- Drive compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications:

Experience:
- 7-9 years of experience as a Testing Analyst.
- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance (QA) methodology.
- Knowledge of defect tracking systems, change management, and automated regression testing tools.
- Experience testing trading platforms or similar software.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Skills:
- Methodical approach to testing and problem-solving.
- Strong theoretical and analytical skills with the ability to plan and execute testing strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on adding value.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or University degree (or equivalent experience).
