The Legal Data & Reporting Product Analyst – Senior Specialist role sits within BCG’s Legal Strategy and Operations Center of Expertise (COE) and is a fully integrated member of BCG’s Global Legal Team. This role is dedicated to supporting the Data & Reporting product team, with a focus on delivering best-in-class business intelligence to enable senior management decision-making across the Legal function.

This is an exciting, fast-paced role that will play a critical part in setting the foundation for data-driven reporting within the Legal team at BCG. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of business intelligence tools, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Legal Data & Reporting Product Analyst – Senior Specialist, you will:

Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Legal function to gather, document, and refine business reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with senior management decision-making needs.
Develop and enhance BI solutions, focusing on Tableau and/or Power BI dashboards, to improve legal operations, reporting capabilities, and analytical insights.
Define and structure data models to support analytics use cases, ensuring data integrity and usability across multiple data sources.
Analyze and interpret complex data sets, uncover trends, identify key themes, and present actionable insights for leadership.
Curate and maintain a backlog of reporting enhancements to ensure continuous improvement and evolution of reporting capabilities.
Assist in the development and tracking of a technical roadmap for data reporting features, ensuring alignment with Legal and business objectives.
Support data quality assurance efforts by conducting audits, troubleshooting data inconsistencies, and implementing process improvements.
Develop training materials and conduct end-user training to ensure adoption and effective use of reporting tools across the Legal team.
Monitor reporting performance and user engagement, identifying opportunities for further optimization.

What You'll Bring

3-5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence within a corporate or professional services environment.
Proven ability to analyze data, uncover trends, and develop insights for senior leadership decision-making.
Hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI, with the ability to design high-quality dashboards.
Strong experience working with enterprise software, databases, and reporting tools.
Familiarity with SQL, DBT, and Snowflake (preferred).
Knowledge of machine learning, data science, or Python (a plus).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to support a global team, occasionally working outside traditional work hours.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
