Role Overview

Automation CoE in Controllership is playing a key role in creating state-of-the-art automation solutions. We integrate human thinking with machine efficiency to deliver process excellence, streamline manual-intensive tasks, and enhance operational efficiency through process reengineering and technology integration.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high-quality automation solutions while providing support for existing automation tools through troubleshooting and enhancements. You will also have the opportunity to learn new technologies and contribute to innovative solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation solutions to optimize business processes.
  • Code, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing automation solutions.
  • Work on process reengineering to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure clean and maintainable code by following object-oriented principles.
  • Utilize DevOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD for deployment.
  • Implement and work with web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Manage and optimize databases (SQL/NoSQL) following best database management practices.
  • Work with Agile methodologies and use tools like Git, JIRA, and Confluence.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

  • BE/B Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a software development role.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 or above) and data structures.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented principles and ability to write clean code.
  • Experience with web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and database management principles.
  • Understanding of DevOps tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
  • Strong process reengineering skills (analyzing existing code, identifying dependencies, and documenting data flows).
  • Hands-on experience in Agile development methodology.
  • Proficiency in Git, JIRA, and Confluence.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with UI automation using Robot Framework and Selenium libraries.
  • Understanding of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or RDA (Robotic Desktop Automation).
  • Experience in Finance Domain is an added advantage.
