Role Overview

The Sr. Salesforce Developer will be responsible for bringing Salesforce project implementations to life. This involves working closely with customers to understand their business needs, designing, developing, QA, and launching tailored solutions. The role also includes contributing to our internal product development and working on building out major components of our internal product for solution packaging.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with customers to define requirements and present/deliver solutions.
Architect solutions and develop in technologies such as Visualforce, Apex, Lightning Components, JavaScript, and AJAX to build customized solutions.
Lead technical design sessions with customers and project teams.
Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and launches, train and mentor the team on these developments.
Own the end-to-end Software/Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including structured code management.

Requirements

Experience:
- 3+ years of project experience in a hands-on technical position.
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce in a development or configuration capacity.
Education:
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar technical degree (or equivalent experience).
Salesforce Experience:
- Experience working on multiple Salesforce project deployments, including release and multi-environment management, legacy system integration using Salesforce APIs, and custom code development.
- Experience with new Salesforce deployments and Service Cloud deployments.
Certifications:
- Any Salesforce certifications are a plus, preferably Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II.

Skills/Technical Expertise

Salesforce Platform and architecture knowledge.
Experience with Service Cloud, Macros, LiveAgent Development, Omni-Channel, SOS, Snap-In's.
Strong hands-on experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with JavaScript technologies such as Node, Angular, and React.
Experience with Web Services concepts like REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.

Skills/Interpersonal

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Open-minded and flexible to change.
