Role: Senior Operations Engineer (Europe Market Support)

PepsiCo’s Sustain & Operations team, part of the Digital Products and Application (DPA) organization, focuses on delivering and sustaining digital products for core business priorities.

As a Senior Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving adoption and operational excellence of digital products. You will ensure an optimal end-user experience through incident resolution, application uptime, and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Technical Operations & Troubleshooting

Perform initial diagnosis, triage, and issue resolution independently.
Handle advanced troubleshooting by identifying and resolving root causes of technical issues.
Work closely with product owners to validate runbooks, SLAs, and monitoring dashboards.
Improve logging, monitoring, and automation for quick and accurate error detection.

✅ System Enhancement & Optimization

Enhance product functionality, automation, tooling, and dashboards.
Optimize resource utilization and dependency management to ensure efficiency.
Improve existing product codebase for better readability and modularity.
Develop automation to detect and ensure compliance with regulations.

✅ Collaboration & Governance

Provide technical leadership by mentoring peers, reviewing code, and sharing best practices.
Partner with managed service providers to ensure application stability and resiliency.
Create AMS governance strategies and evaluate vendor performance based on SLAs.
Analyze application usage and incident rates, recommending cost-saving measures.

✅ Reporting & Communication

Proactively update leadership with concise reports, timelines, ownership details, and risk assessments.
Ensure alignment of SE procedures across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

???? Education & Experience

8+ years of experience as an Operations Engineer in Supply Chain/IBP areas.
Strong hands-on expertise in O9 or IBP platforms.

???? Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of software languages, design patterns, and modular coding.
Knowledge of ServiceNow, O9, and Supply Chain concepts.
FMCG industry background is preferred.
