About the Role & Team:
Welcome to SITA’s Aircraft Business Unit. We enhance flight operations, air traffic management, and aircraft maintenance by enabling collaboration through:

What You’ll Do:

Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on instructions from European Quality Assurance.
Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java (Core Java), TestNG, and Rest Assured.
Implement and execute API automation testing using Rest Assured to ensure backend reliability and seamless integrations.
Optimize and enhance existing automation scripts for stability, maintainability, and scalability.
Conduct regression testing to ensure minimal defects in production.
Collaborate with European development teams to troubleshoot automation failures and resolve issues swiftly.
Analyze project requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies and automation approaches.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster deployments.
Lead bug triage sessions, prioritizing issues based on project timelines and impact.
Maintain proper documentation of automation test cases, frameworks, and test results.
Collaborate with the Test Manager and European Quality Assurance team to ensure top product quality.

Qualifications:
Required Skills:

Strong expertise in automation testing using Selenium, Java (Core Java), TestNG, and API automation with Rest Assured.
Hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
Deep understanding of Core Java concepts (OOPs, collections, exception handling, multithreading).
Experience integrating automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, or similar).
Proficiency with XPath, CSS selectors, and dynamic locators for Selenium automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging automation failures.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
Experience in regression testing and maintaining automated test suites for long-term sustainability.
At least 5 years of experience in both manual and automation testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge of BDD frameworks, database validation, and SQL queries.
Proficiency in advanced debugging techniques and tools for test automation.
Experience in mentoring junior testers and training them in automation best practices.
Familiarity with telecommunication systems in the aeronautical industry.
