Job Title: Business Systems Analyst - Crew Management

About This Role

As a Business Systems Analyst in the Crew Management domain, you will be responsible for solving complex business problems within the aviation flight crew area by utilizing automated systems. You will lead and coach a team of subject matter experts (SMEs), ensuring that customer and industry needs are met efficiently. The role involves working cross-functionally across different business domains and requires up to 60% travel.


Main Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis: Plan, conduct, and direct the analysis of complex business problems to be solved using automated systems.

  • Leadership & Coaching: Lead a team of SMEs, helping them upskill and achieve technical excellence.

  • Training & Documentation: Prepare training documents and videos. Conduct training sessions for internal teams and global customers.

  • Customer Workshops & Testing: Support customer workshops, validation testing, and implementation of solutions.

  • Development Support: Assist development teams by addressing functionality questions, testing issues, and training on new products.

  • Delivery Planning: Help in all aspects of planning for the deployment of services or products.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience: 6-8 years of related experience, preferably in the aviation/crew management domain.

  • DBMS: Strong experience with Oracle and MongoDB.

  • SQL/PLSQL: Proficient in writing database queries using SQL or PL/SQL.

  • Integration: Knowledge of integration methods and web services like SOAP, XML, JSON, and tools like Postman.

  • Cloud Technology: Familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies.

  • Programming: Experience with Java and Python.

  • Reporting Tools: Experience with JasperSoft or Power BI is a plus.

  • Training/Communication: Ability to conduct training sessions and provide demos to internal teams or customers.

  • Additional Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (writing Macros is a plus).

    • Experience working with Unix/Windows environments.

    • Understanding of client-server architectures and legacy system integrations.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Equivalent Airline Experience.


Additional Information

  • Travel: This position may require up to 60% travel.

  • Industry Focus: You will be working on advanced Crew Management systems for airlines, contributing to large-scale, high-value projects with significant customer impact.
