Roles & Responsibilities

1. Customer Communication

  • Taking Orders: Engage with customers via phone or email to take floral orders.

  • Understanding Needs: Provide recommendations based on customer preferences for special occasions (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, etc.).

  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Suggest complementary products like vases, chocolates, or personalized gifts.

2. Order Processing & Coordination

  • Order Entry: Accurately input customer orders with details like product selection, delivery time, and special requests.

  • Order Confirmation: Verify order details, delivery schedules, and payment information with customers.

  • Delivery Coordination: Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

  • Problem Resolution: Address delivery issues or customer concerns promptly and professionally.

3. Customer Service & Relationship Building

  • Follow-Up: Ensure customer satisfaction post-delivery through follow-ups.

  • Handling Complaints: Respond to customer concerns and complaints professionally to maintain a positive relationship.

  • Building Loyalty: Establish and nurture strong relationships to encourage repeat business.

4. Review & Feedback Management

  • Requesting Reviews: Encourage satisfied customers to leave positive feedback on Google, Yelp, or the company website.

  • Monitoring Reviews: Track customer feedback to measure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

  • Addressing Negative Reviews: Respond professionally to negative feedback, offering resolutions and maintaining brand reputation.

5. Sales Reporting & Targets

  • Meeting Sales Goals: Work towards achieving sales targets by maximizing order volumes and revenue.

  • Sales Reports: Provide regular updates on sales performance, customer feedback, and order processing insights.

6. Product Knowledge

  • Floral Expertise: Understand the boutique’s offerings, including flower types, seasonal availability, and pricing.

  • Promotion Awareness: Stay updated on ongoing promotions and discounts to drive sales.

  • Customer Education: Provide useful tips on flower care, best-selling arrangements, and personalized gifting options.

7. Administrative Support

  • Order Documentation: Maintain organized records of customer orders for tracking and future reference.

  • Customer Database: Update records with past purchases, preferences, and contact details for personalized service.

  • Payment Handling: Securely process transactions, applying discounts and promotions as needed.

8. Team Collaboration

  • Coordinating with Teams: Work closely with floral designers, delivery personnel, and fellow sales representatives for smooth order processing.
