Sales Head – Retail Solutions Business

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Head to lead our Retail Solutions Business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling fuel solution products and fuel management systems to National and Private Oil Marketing Companies as well as commercial and industrial customers. This role involves strategic planning, managing a team of sales managers, and driving sales growth across the nation.


Key Responsibilities

Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies

  • Strategize and consistently achieve the committed sales forecast month on month.
  • Thoroughly understand market dynamics for Retail Business of Oil Marketing Companies and build a sales strategy aligned with market needs.
  • Develop a competitive advantage to be the preferred choice of customers.
  • Understand the tendering process and build strategies to maximize wins.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify and bridge market gaps.
  • Ensure deep product & solution fit for customer requirements.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead, mentor, motivate and manage the sales team.
  • Set clear team goals, provide guidance, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop strong engagement with customers by solving their problems.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to understand automation needs and address pain points.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for fueling automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful content, presentations, and sales materials.

Sales Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.

Market Expansion

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.

Coordination with Other Departments

  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment with company goals and operations.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to drive overall business success.

Qualifications & Experience

???? Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent is a plus.

???? Experience:

  • Proven track record in Retail Automation Sales or related fields.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good technical knowledge of fueling automation, payments, and cloud solutions for retail and industrial customers.
