Role Overview

In this role, you will be instrumental in the Payment Strategy and Operations remit, which includes managing Supplier Payments, Partner Payments (Co-brand, Client Incentives, TLS, etc.), First-Line Payment Risk Governance, Spend Analytics, Customer Helpdesk, Disbursements, and Travel & Expense Program Management. Your primary goal will be to deliver a high standard of operational excellence and quality in payment processes across multiple regions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Leadership:

    • Lead quality reviews across multiple payment processes covering APAC, EMEA, US, and LACC, ensuring robust quality checks.
  • Operational Efficiency:

    • Drive efficiency and maintain high accuracy and productivity standards for the team.
    • Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Development & Collaboration:

    • Train, guide, and coach a diverse team to build robust process expertise and foster a culture of challenging the status quo.
    • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across business processes to share insights, better practices, and control enhancements.
  • Control & Advisory:

    • Provide clear and effective control advisory and guidance to stakeholders through strong communication.

Critical Success Factors

  • Rapid learning and deep understanding of business processes within Payment Operations.
  • Proven experience in leading teams across multiple business processes.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and effectively operate within large cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant industry and risk management experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in process oversight and controls, with a focus on reducing process risks and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to conduct root cause analyses to identify and prevent potential operational risks.
