In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of operational risk management and testing across the organization. The role involves working on control testing, call monitoring, and improving compliance and operational risk processes across the Global Commercial Services (GCS) business. You will partner with cross-functional teams to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks while delivering process improvements and actionable insights.
Contact clients with overdue accounts to secure settlements and perform preventive actions to minimize future overdue risks.
Support the implementation of Operational, Financial, and Regulatory Testing including Business Self Testing (BST), Relationship-Based Testing (RBST), Salesforce notes monitoring, and servicing calls review for Global & Large clients.
Identify control deficiencies through testing and monitoring and collaborate with business partners to develop mitigating actions.
Monitor key activities to ensure timelines, risk assessments, documentation, testing plans, and reporting are executed effectively.
Prepare monthly “5 Touch Point” reports in Excel, analyzing in-scope agent activities.
Maintain risk and control knowledge through continuous professional development and training.
Ensure full compliance with Operational Risk Governance, Operational Excellence, and Compliance Standards regarding documentation, testing, and certification of GCS business controls.
Partner closely with teams such as Operational Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to maintain a well-controlled business environment.
Engage in projects to analyze business risks and recommend improvements, process enhancements, and risk reduction strategies.
Proactive and decisive approach to risk identification and problem-solving.
Creative and innovative mindset to solve complex regulatory and compliance challenges.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels, including leadership.
Analytical skills to process large datasets and produce actionable insights and reports.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Capable of building reports, dashboards, and metric-driven summaries.
Minimum 2 years of experience in operational risk management, internal control, auditing, or a related field, preferably in the financial services or banking industry.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
Experience with Operational Risk Testing, Business Self-Testing, and other control management techniques.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc.)
Knowledge of GCS business portfolio products, procedures, and policies.
Familiarity with internal control testing frameworks and operational risk management within a financial institution.
