Senior Global ePayments Analyst

Department: Shared Services
Job Level: P2
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
Job Type: Full-time
Shift Timing: 6 PM - 3 AM

Position Summary

The Senior Global ePayments Analyst will handle ePayment requests, process virtual/P-card payments, and assist customers in resolving payment issues, disputes, and chargebacks. The role requires expertise in ePayments merchants such as CyberSource, Global Payments, PayPal, American Express, Cielo, Stripe, and Fiserv. Additionally, the analyst will support expanding global ePayment options and ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards.


Key Responsibilities

Payment Processing & Customer Support

  • Process ePayments, including credit card transactions over the phone and virtual/P-card payments.
  • Resolve customer payment issues, errors, disputes, and validation inquiries.
  • Monitor and review corporate credit card helpdesk requests and manage accounts.
  • Process credit card refunds in accordance with defined policies.
  • Assist customers with online payment processing guidance.
  • Manage and process eCheck/ACH payments as required.
  • Handle direct debit files in bank portals and resolve any processing fallouts.
  • Review and process Brazilian Boleto payments.

Chargeback & Fraud Management

  • Manage chargeback inquiries for domestic and international transactions.
  • Monitor fraud data and collaborate with teams for resolution.
  • Maintain and manage merchant, eCheck/ACH, direct debit, and bank transfer accounts.
  • Facilitate Cardholder policy compliance and training.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Generate daily, monthly, and quarterly ePayments reports.
  • Support quarter-end and year-end financial reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI standards and SOX audit requirements.
  • Assist internal and external (SOX) audit requests.
  • Work closely with general ledger teams on reconciliation and closing activities.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work with internal teams (order administration, sales, credit & collections, finance, treasury, etc.).
  • Communicate trends, suggest improvements, and provide valuable insights.
  • Assist in expanding Trimble’s global ePayment options.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance).
  • Certifications:
    • Certification in ePayments (credit card chargeback or fraud handling) is an advantage.
    • Certification in MIS reporting (Advanced Excel, DoMo, Power BI, SQL) is an advantage.
  • Experience: 2-4 years in ePayments, fraud management, or related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in ERP systems like Oracle (R12), Salesforce, Aria Systems.
    • Knowledge of payment processors/gateways such as CyberSource, Global Payments, PayPal, Stripe, SEPA Direct Debit, and Fiserv.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite.

  • Extensive knowledge of ePayments, including credit/debit cards, PayPal, SEPA, and boleto.
  • Strong understanding of chargeback management and fraud detection.
  • High attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly in shifts (US/AME - EST hours).

  • Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards and SOX compliance.
