???? Overview:

As a Senior Business Analyst for Repository and Confirmation Services, you will be responsible for drafting business and functional requirements for system solutions related to compliance and regulatory reporting, trade confirmation, trade repositories, and digital workflow automation. You will work closely with various teams to translate business/product requirements into system requirements, ensuring the accurate implementation of these requirements. Additionally, you will proactively identify and address business questions with results-driven analytics and innovative solutions.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

Documentation & Requirement Gathering:
- Independently create quality documentation and original content for intellectual property development.
- Collect product requirements directly from operations, technology, business development, and sales, and translate them into development requirements following company standards.
- Gather and document content for new system functionalities.
- Work with project teams and stakeholders to fully document functional requirements and features.
Business & Functional Analysis:
- Develop requirements and analysis artifacts including use cases, activity diagrams, UI schematics, business rules, technical specifications, process flows, and API documentation.
- Extract and analyze data using tools like SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
- Lead the model definition process and serve as the business analyst for data analysis used in analytical models.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, managing relationships with business and IT subject matter experts, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Assist Operations with incident resolution and facilitate prioritization and tracking of system requirements.
Adherence to Cybersecurity Policies:
- Follow company cybersecurity policies and protect confidential customer information and intellectual property.
Continuous Learning & Improvement:
- Stay current with new technologies and trends, and continuously improve processes and system performance.

???? Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, MIS, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software product development, business analysis, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Experience in banking, trading, clearing, or related industries, with a preference for knowledge of derivatives and derivatives products.
- Experience with systems handling high transaction volumes is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong technical and functional business writing skills.
- Ability to facilitate requirements gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of technologies and how they impact delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio), with strong Word and Excel skills.
- Ability to execute and refine database queries for data analysis.

⚙️ Technical Skills:

Strong technical aptitude and understanding of how technologies impact software delivery.
Proficiency in tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, etc., for data analysis.
Understanding of basic statistical and data mining approaches and terms is a plus.
Experience with software testing tools, regression testing, and performance testing is an advantage.
