About the Team

The U.S. Consumer Services (USCS) Team manages a broad suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including:

  • Premium, cobrand, cashback, and lending portfolios

  • Membership Rewards & Global Travel Services

  • Centurion Lounge Network & Dining/Resy Business

  • U.S. Consumer Banking & Best-in-Class Marketing Programs

The Specialized Risk Management Team within USCS ensures control management is deeply integrated into our day-to-day operations, equipping business units with expert knowledge to manage and mitigate risks effectively.


Role Overview

We are looking for a Sr. Analyst – Specialized Risk Management to support control management, operational risk compliance, and integration of risk processes across business functions. This role requires extensive collaboration with multiple teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with enterprise policies (e.g., AEMP 88 - Conduct Risk Management Policy).

  • Support the integration of decentralized risk types into broader Operational Risk Management (ORM) policies.

  • Conduct research on emerging risk trends, best practices, and regulatory updates to support business risk strategy.

  • Assist in preparing training and awareness materials to increase risk management understanding within U.S. Consumer Services.

  • Support senior team members in designing and implementing controls tailored to specialized risk areas.

  • Gather and analyze operational risk insights, risk strategies, and industry themes across the enterprise.

  • Assist in monitoring and aligning business risk procedures with changes in the business environment and regulatory landscape.


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Risk & Compliance, or Internal Audit.

  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in process governance and overseeing robust decision-making processes aligned with regulatory frameworks.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess data trends and evaluate risk scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field. (Advanced degrees such as MBA, MSc, or professional certifications are advantageous.)

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Supporting compliance with enterprise policies and contributing to process enhancements.

    • Advising on risk integration within broader operational risk policies.
