Job Title: Engagement Specialist—Senior Analyst

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary, Full-time
Shift: 11 AM - 8 PM IST

As an Engagement Specialist at Deloitte, you will help enhance the engagement experience by ideating, designing, and executing engagement frameworks aligned with business priorities.

Deloitte’s Encore Program is specifically designed to enable seasoned professionals who have been away from the workforce for 6 months to 4 years to return to work. This paid 16-week program offers training, mentorship, and hands-on experience in a client service environment.


Role Overview:

As an Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for interacting with leaders and professionals to discuss issues, provide guidance, and develop engagement frameworks. You will work independently and collaborate with business advisors and leaders to execute programs supporting business goals, retention management, performance management, and more.

This is a fixed-term hire position, and upon successful completion of the program, there may be an opportunity for full-time employment, subject to business requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management & Execution:

    • Develop, manage, and execute engagement programs (e.g., skip-level meetings, walk and talk).

    • Support employee survey participation and manage engagement action planning.

    • Drive employee advocacy, retention management, performance management, and change management programs.

    • Be the point of contact for leadership, internal stakeholders, and other teams to enhance the employee experience.

  • Employee Relations & Advocacy:

    • Act as an advocate and advisor, understanding professional concerns and resolving issues by engaging business leaders and stakeholders.

    • Conduct stay interviews and provide insights to leaders for engagement planning.

    • Facilitate business leaders' connections with employees for critical issues.

    • Help managers and employees create individual development plans aligned with business objectives.

  • Talent Retention & Monitoring:

    • Identify high-risk employees and proactively engage with stakeholders to retain talent.

    • Manage the rewards and recognition process, including nominations, ceremonies, and payouts.

    • Highlight budget utilizations, penetration levels, and proactively advise the business on engagement metrics.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work closely with teams managing new hire integration, onboarding, exit processes, and learning logs.

    • Participate and lead Performance Management roadshows, as needed.

    • Assist the Employee Relations team with insights and issues related to employee engagement.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Required:

    • Master's in HR/Business Management or a Certification in HR.

    • 4–6 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to audiences at various levels.

    • Excellent planning and presentation skills, with a keen attention to detail.

    • Experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements in a dynamic environment.

  • Preferred:

    • Experience with a regional or Big 4 accounting firm.
