The Salesman will be responsible for driving sales and marketing efforts at a Pan-India level, with a focus on B2B sales.


Key Responsibilities

  1. B2B Sales Expertise:

    • Handle B2B sales in the travel industry, building and maintaining relationships with travel agents and tour operators.
  2. Market Research & Selling:

    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
    • Promote company products through field visits and presentations tailored to local markets.
  3. Client Acquisition and Retention:

    • Establish new business connections and maintain existing relationships.
    • Drive online business with both new and existing accounts.
  4. Target Achievement:

    • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
    • Generate revenue for the organization and drive growth initiatives.
  5. Data Management and Reporting:

    • Prepare weekly forecasts and daily sales schedules.
    • Maintain records of sales activities and client information.
  6. Additional Duties:

    • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and closure of deals.
    • Stay updated with travel-related software, tools, and trends.
    • Represent the company professionally in all dealings.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or University Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in a B2B sales role, preferably in the airline or travel services industry.
  • Proven track record of successful B2B sales, especially within the travel category (experience dealing with Travel Management Companies (TMCs) is a must).

Behavioral & Technical Skills:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Own a two-wheeler for local travel.
