Job Overview:

An urgent opening is available for the Sales Manager (Agency Channel) in a Life Insurance Company based in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh and Jalandhar, Punjab. The position requires a strong background in sales, particularly in the life insurance industry, with a focus on recruiting and managing agents.

Key Responsibilities:

Agent Management: Guide, supervise, and control agents/IMs under your hierarchy regarding their life insurance business.
Policy Quality: Ensure the quality of life insurance policies sourced by agents/IMs.
Compliance: Responsible for all acts of omission and commission by agents/IMs.
Recruitment: Recruit and manage agents. Identify potential candidates, train them, and develop them into high-performing advisors.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor agents' performance, motivating them to achieve their business goals.
Customer Relationship: Maintain regular interactions with existing customers to meet service standards and increase retention.
Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies to enhance market reach and penetration through segmentation.
New Customer Acquisition: Actively seek new customers to drive sales growth.

Job Specifications:

Education: Graduate (10+2+3) / Post Graduate or equivalent.
Experience: 1-7 years in a Sales Development role, preferably in the life insurance industry or any other sales-related field.
Location: Local area candidates with knowledge of the potential market are preferred.
Age: 24 - 36 years.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to recruit, manage, and train agents effectively.
- Good understanding of sales and business development.

Preferred Skills:

Sales Management: Ability to drive team performance and meet sales targets.
Insurance Industry Knowledge: Experience in life insurance or other sales roles is necessary.
