As a Sales Executive at Accor, you will be responsible for planning and implementing sales strategies, maintaining existing business accounts, and converting sales leads. You will also manage business relationships across Accor Hotels Group properties, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to guests, and contribute to the overall success of the hotel.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Plan Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Sales Manager to plan and implement sales strategies aimed at achieving the budgeted targets.
Sell Hotel Services: Sell all facets of the hotel’s offerings and cross-sell other Accor Hotels Group properties.
Lead Generation: Identify and establish new business, while maintaining and nurturing existing business accounts through action plans.
Sales Lead Conversion: Actively convert sales leads and solicit business according to established parameters.
Business Development: Handle accounts and prospects jointly with senior positions to convert leads into contracts.
Site Inspections & Familiarizations: Conduct familiarization trips and site inspections to showcase the hotel’s offerings to potential clients.
Monitor Competitor Activities: Regularly monitor competitors and communicate any tactical changes to the Sales Manager.
Customer Service
Brand Promise Delivery: Ensure the consistent delivery of the brand promise, providing exceptional service to guests at all times.
Guest & Customer Complaints: Handle all guest and internal customer complaints efficiently, following through to resolution.
Internal Relationships: Maintain positive interactions with colleagues across departments to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Visitor Management: Greet visitors, ascertain the nature of business, and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
Operational Responsibilities
Business Plan Contribution: Assist in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan for the hotel.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members in a supportive manner to focus on the hotel's success and guest satisfaction.
Technology Embrace: Ensure new technologies and equipment are adopted to improve productivity and streamline work processes.
Other Duties
Training & Meetings: Attend and actively contribute to all required training sessions and meetings.
Professional Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with representatives from competitor hotels, business partners, and organizations.
Company Policies Adherence: Understand and adhere to the hotel's rules, regulations, and safety policies, particularly in areas like fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
Grooming Standards: Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
Occupational Health & Safety
Ensure understanding and adherence to the hotel’s fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies.
Take responsibility for safeguarding your health and safety as well as the safety of others in the workplace.
Experience: Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a similar role within a corporate environment.
Skills:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong ability to build rapport with clients and effectively close deals.
Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficiency in conducting market research and developing sales strategies.
