At AVEVA, we are driving digital transformation across the industrial sector. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new business and expanding existing client accounts. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and be a key player in driving AVEVA's software solutions into industries like chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power, water utilities, and more.
Business Acquisition & Management:
Acquire new clients while effectively managing and growing existing accounts, maintaining AVEVA’s competitive edge.
Sales Targets:
Consistently meet and exceed revenue and order intake goals.
Pipeline Management & Forecasting:
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Deliver accurate sales forecasts and updates to management.
Strategic Planning:
Identify white space and competitive opportunities. Collaborate with marketing, product teams, and lead generation to execute demand generation activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with support and specialist teams to unlock new business within target accounts.
Communication & Reporting:
Deliver timely updates, progress reports, and campaign insights. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting cycles.
Client Relationship Management:
Develop long-term strategic relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers. Act as a trusted advisor.
Compliance:
Follow AVEVA's frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements.
Continuous Learning:
Continuously upskill in AVEVA’s solutions and customer challenges to effectively articulate value propositions.
Experience:
14+ years of direct sales/account management experience, ideally in industrial software solutions.
Proven background in sectors such as Chemicals, Pharma, Power, Water, Discrete Manufacturing, Plant Owner Operators, EPCs, etc.
Experience managing complex, long-cycle B2B sales.
Skills:
Self-starter with aggressive goal-setting habits
Strong C-level engagement and strategic selling capability
Deep analytical thinking and ability to formulate winning strategies
Proven cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills
Excellent written and oral communication
Strong account planning and customer management experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or equivalent professional experience in process or manufacturing industries.
