Job Description

The role is based in the BSv organization within the Record to Analyze (R2A) process. Process experts in this role contribute to achieving service levels and key targets while delivering high-quality, cost-effective services. They leverage their expertise in R2A processes (recording, reporting, analyzing) to enhance business outcomes and drive finance process improvements through innovation and technology adoption.

They are responsible for handling complex transactions, resolving process-related issues, supporting period-end close activities, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and interacting with Financial Controllers.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Ledger Accounting:
    • Process complex journal entries, accruals, provisions, and allocations according to schedules and client procedures.
    • Handle non-standard accounting events as per policies and manuals.
  • Fixed Asset Management:
    • Process fixed asset transactions, ensuring timely capitalization.
    • Monitor fixed asset budgets and interact with asset owners.
  • Banking & Intercompany Transactions:
    • Process daily bank statements and reconcile bank accounts.
    • Reconcile intercompany transactions and agree on balances.
    • Execute intercompany netting and settlements.
  • Financial Close & Reporting:
    • Conduct period-end close activities, ensuring timely completion.
    • Escalate issues to Finance Controllers or Process Owners if needed.
    • Reconcile low/medium risk balance sheet accounts and review approvals.
    • Prepare financial, management, and treasury reports using ERP systems.
    • Generate tax and statutory reports.
  • Financial Controls & Automation:
    • Monitor and execute automated transactions, including FX valuation and depreciation.
    • Execute, monitor, and test financial controls as per the Client Controls Framework.
